This is a career opportunity in law enforcement with an elite team of professionals. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will work to safeguard America by deterring illicit activity and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
The role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances, determine admissibility for entry into the United States, and prevent the illegal entry of people and goods.
We are seeking candidates who possess strong judgment skills, ability to make rapid decisions under pressure, as well as effective communication skills. In addition to meeting basic requirements such as U.S. citizenship status or age restriction exemption (for veterans), candidates must have relevant experience or education credits that can be equated in terms similar impact performance at earlier grade levels.
