Border Patrol Agent

A Customs and Border Protection Officer plays a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing laws and regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. As a CBPO, you will be part of an elite team of highly trained professionals who embody camaraderie, pride, and purpose.

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.


• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.


• Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.


• Preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods as well as smuggling drugs etc.,

You must meet one or more qualification standards below to qualify for this position:
Possess one year specialized full-time work experience equivalent to at least GS-7 grade level that includes performing physical inspection , utilization observational techniques evaluating facts reviewing documentation applying Federal State local laws regulation making determinations compliance with these in order arrest seize property fines penalties based on findings.
Or possess Bachelor degree from accredited college university possessing Superior Academic Achievement based GPA 3 point zero higher honor society membership either holding graduate-level education then demonstrating necessary knowledge skills abilities perform job assigned .
