Border Protection Careers

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you are part of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer profession.

• To be eligible for this position, you must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
  You will also need to be a U.S. citizen in accordance with Public Law 100-238.
