Protective Border Professional

This is an entry-level position as a Border Patrol Agent within the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The agent will work to protect America by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws;
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders;
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions;

To qualify for this position, you must be a U.S. citizen with primary residency in the United States for at least three out of five years preceding your application. You must also meet one of the following qualifications: possess one year of general work experience demonstrating sound decision-making skills under stressful situations OR hold a bachelor's degree in any field OR have a combination of both experience and education.
