Border Protector Job Opportunity

Border Patrol Agents are sought after to protect America's borders. This law enforcement position involves a range of duties, including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations, and preventing the entry of undocumented noncitizens.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet specific requirements. For the GL-5 grade level:

• One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

For the GL-7 grade level:

• Specialized work experience that demonstrates skills necessary to analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions

• Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement based on class standing GPA ,or honor society membership
  Or will receive a bachelor’s degree with Superior Academic Achievement.
  Or one full year graduate-level education in a field related law enforcement .
