About the Job
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill Customs and Border Protection Officer positions.
As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation by enforcing customs laws, regulations, and policies. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals, conveyances, and cargo to prevent illegal entry of goods and people into the United States.
- You must possess strong analytical skills to identify potential threats and make rapid decisions under pressure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level is required. This includes detaining suspected violators of federal or local laws/arresting using proper law enforcement methods; enforcing importing/exporting/international shipping laws/regulations; utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis identifying threats/risk assessments violations/laws/security national;
