**Job Title:** Border Patrol Agent

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is hiring full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) opportunities as a Border Patrol Agent (BPA). As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000 workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.

This position requires individuals who can make sound judgments and decisions in stressful situations while dealing effectively with people in connection with law enforcement matters. You must be able to analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where necessary.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders

You will also perform other duties such as farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks patrolling international boundaries using vehicles (cars/horses/boats/atvs etc.) for accomplishment of USBP mission. /span
