About the Job
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America's borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel.
- Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances.
- Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
- Prevent illegal entry of prohibited goods
Promotions Opportunities:
A career ladder position with progression through GS-5 to GS-12 grade levels upon successful completion of 52 weeks in each grade level
