1. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing customs regulations, preventing smuggling of goods,
   and ensuring compliance with trade laws. They will also work closely with other government agencies to share information
   and prevent cross-border crimes. The job requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability
   to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
   The Customs Officer works closely with colleagues from various departments
   in managing operations at border crossings.


2. The Border Protection Officer is expected to conduct regular inspections of commercial vehicles
   and cargo shipments entering the country.
   The officer must identify any potential security risks or non-compliance issues
   with current regulations.
   The inspections involve reviewing documents such as manifests,
   invoices, weight slips
   alongside conducting thorough searches within containers
   or by using appropriate technology if necessary
