• Enforce customs laws and regulations relating to importing and exporting goods.


• Carry out inspections of individuals, cargo, and conveyances at designated ports of entry.


• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States based on applicable immigration laws.


• Pursue suspects involved in illegal activities such as smuggling contraband or violating trade regulations.
