The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to join its elite team of law enforcement professionals. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting American interests.

This position requires individuals who are passionate about public service, have strong analytical skills, and can work effectively in high-pressure environments. CBP Field Operations Officers are responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at ports of entry along U.S. borders. They conduct inspections of people, cargo containers, vehicles; examine baggage/merchandise; assess risk levels based on behavior analysis/intelligence techniques & determine admissibility into US or keep out prohibited items/drugs etc...

  
• Detecting potential threats related to homeland security including terrorism financing & human trafficking; utilize expertise across multiple disciplines such as finance business acumen intelligence gathering negotiation mediation resolution.
