I am looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to scrape specific information from a designated website and organize it into a Google Sheet. The ideal candidate will be experienced in web scraping techniques and will ensure accuracy and efficiency in the data collection process. If you have a proven track record in similar projects and are proficient in using tools like Python, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy, this opportunity is for you. Please provide examples of your previous work related to web scraping.
You will be scraping from this register:
and put this information into a sheet:
- Franchisor name / trading name
- Industry division & subdivision
- Years operating as a franchise system
- Number of businesses in the system
- Franchised businesses
- Franchisor-owned units
- States currently operating in
- States planning to expand into
- Minimum & maximum setup cost / total investment
- Initial fees / deposits (if disclosed)
- Any "documentation fee," deposit, or franchise fee details.
- Ongoing royalties / % of revenue
- Length of franchise term + renewal option
- Any disclosed bankruptcies / serious offences / civil judgments (last 5–10 yrs)
- Franchisor email, phone, website
if we can also scrape social media website (facebook/instagram), that'd be ideal
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
