CRO Specialist - Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist (High-Ticket Funnels)
Company Description:
We operate a high-ticket online education business generating approximately USD $1M per month through paid acquisition and a call-based sales system. Our offers are premium, our demand is proven, and top-line revenue is stable.
The focus now is efficiency.
We are entering a margin optimization phase with the goal of increasing profit per booked and shown call, improving cash collection, and tightening revenue mechanics across the funnel. This is not a growth-at-all-costs phase. This is about clarity, leverage, and disciplined execution.
We value speed, ownership, and direct thinking. Decisions are expected to tie back to cash collected, not surface-level metrics or cosmetic optimizations.
Role Description:
This is a contract-based, remote role for a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist (High-Ticket Funnels). The role is highly outcome-driven and works directly with the founder and revenue stakeholders.
Your mandate is simple in definition and demanding in execution: increase profit per show.
You will own funnel performance across the full high-ticket journey, from paid traffic through booked calls, show rates, closes, payment structure, and backend monetization. This is not an ecommerce or SaaS role. It requires a clear understanding of call funnels, sales psychology, and unit economics.
This engagement begins as a focused 30 to 60 day sprint. Continued work is based entirely on measurable financial lift.
Responsibilities:
- Audit the end-to-end funnel from ad click to cash collected and identify revenue leakage
- Diagnose booking conversion issues, show rate friction, and pre-call drop-off points
- Evaluate payment flow structure, including PIF framing, payment plans, and order bumps
- Assess pre-call nurture sequences for intent, commitment, and show quality
- Prioritize tests based on impact to profit per show and speed of execution
- Design and execute CRO tests tied directly to cash outcomes, not vanity metrics
- Quantify expected upside and downside before tests are launched
- Report clearly on what is leaking money, what is being tested first, and why
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to align funnel changes with buyer psychology
What Success Looks Like:
- Higher profit per shown call
- Improved show rates without sacrificing lead quality
- Increased PIF uptake and stronger cash collection
- Clear visibility into which funnel levers drive margin fastest
- Actionable testing insights that compound over time
Qualifications:
- Proven experience optimizing high-ticket, call-based funnels
- Strong grasp of sales psychology, not only page-level conversion tactics
- Ability to think in unit economics and cash flow, not abstract conversion rates
- Track record of producing measurable revenue or profit improvements
- Comfort making fast decisions with imperfect data
- Clear, direct communicator who can explain what matters and why
Experience with online education, coaching, or service-based high-ticket offers is a strong advantage.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
