We are looking for an experienced WordPress Custom Theme Developer to help improve and maintain our existing WordPress setup. We already have a custom plugin that syncs content between DEV, UAT, and PROD environments, but it does not work reliably. You will be responsible for optimizing our theme, fixing issues, and ensuring smooth integration with our workflows.
This is an immediate start position for someone who is confident working with custom WordPress themes, PHP, and modern WordPress development practices.
### Responsibilities:
* Review and improve the existing custom WordPress theme.
* Debug and optimize the custom sync plugin for DEV/UAT/PROD environments.
* Implement new features and fix bugs in the theme as required.
* Ensure cross-environment compatibility and stability.
* Collaborate with the team to maintain code quality and performance.
### Requirements:
* Strong experience in WordPress custom theme development
* Solid PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS knowledge.
* Experience working with custom plugins and multi-environment workflows.
* Familiarity with Elementor or other page builders is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and start immediately.
### Nice-to-Have:
* Experience with Git and version control in multi-environment setups.
* Familiarity with Dev/UAT/Prod workflow automation.
* Knowledge of WordPress performance optimization and caching.
