Project Description
We're seeking an experienced WordPress developer with deep expertise in Elementor Pro and extensive plugin knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to build high-converting websites, troubleshoot complex plugin conflicts, and implement custom functionality to meet diverse client needs. You'll work with our design and marketing teams to bring conversion-focused WordPress sites to life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites using Elementor Pro
- Build custom page layouts and templates with Elementor
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide variety of WordPress plugins
- Resolve plugin conflicts and compatibility issues
- Optimize site speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness
- Implement conversion tracking, analytics, and marketing integrations
- Collaborate with designers to implement conversion-focused designs accurately
- Perform website maintenance and updates for existing client sites
- Set up WooCommerce stores and e-commerce functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Ensure website security and implement best practices
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Expert-level proficiency with Elementor Pro (theme builder, custom widgets, dynamic content)
- Extensive experience with WordPress plugins across various categories
- Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality and architecture
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile optimization
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization principles
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Experience with version control (Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other page builders (Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder)
- Knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom post types
- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins (Yoast SEO, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WP Rocket, etc.)
- Understanding of WordPress security best practices
- Experience with membership and LMS plugins
- Knowledge of WordPress Multisite
- Experience with booking and appointment plugins
- Familiarity with WordPress REST API
- Background working with marketing agencies or multiple clients
- Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress

Budget and Timeline
- This is an ongoing position with regular development projects
- Hourly rate: Competitive, based on experience and proven results
- Hours per week: 15-25 initially, with potential for growth
