We are looking for a skilled and creative Freelance Video Editor to support our content and marketing projects on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that align with our brand style and project goals. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver professional results.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into polished final content
Create short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, ads, and campaigns
Add transitions, motion graphics, titles, subtitles, and branding elements
Enhance videos with music, sound effects, and audio cleanup
Perform color correction and basic video enhancements
Use AI tools such as HeyGen to create avatar videos, voiceovers, or AI-generated content when required
Ensure videos meet platform specifications (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Deliver projects on time and communicate progress effectively
Organize project files and provide editable versions when required
Requirements
Proven experience as a Video Editor (freelance or professional)
Strong portfolio showcasing experience across multiple video formats, including:
Social media reels & short-form content
YouTube videos (long-form & Shorts)
Corporate or promotional videos
Advertisement videos
AI-generated/avatar videos (HeyGen)
Explainer or educational videos
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Experience using HeyGen for AI avatar videos and automated video creation
Knowledge of After Effects / motion graphics is a plus
Strong storytelling, pacing, and creative editing skills
Ability to work independently and take feedback professionally
Reliable internet connection and ability to deliver files digitally
Project Details
Payment: Per project / hourly / monthly retainer (negotiable)
Workload: Flexible (depending on project needs)
Turnaround Time: Typically 24–72 hours depending on project size
Deliverables: Final edited videos + source/editable files (if requested)
