About the Role
The Specialist, Partnerships & Events plays a key role in bringing the Organika brand to life and driving impact through key partnerships, sponsorships and owned brand events. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Events and Brand Partnerships, this role will contribute to the planning and execution of memorable brand experiences and events that amplify our story, strengthen connections with consumers, and drive mass top of funnel awareness and brand affinity. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role requiring resourcefulness, creativity, strong project management skills, and the ability to quickly action insights and ideas into seamless, impactful experiences.
This is a dynamic role perfect for an organized, creative, and strategic brand marketer ready to take on more responsibility in their marketing career. You'll be successful if you take ownership and accountability naturally, meet ambiguity with enthusiasm, and understand when to sweat the details and when to move and iterate.
Job Location
This is a predominantly in-office role based out of Organika's Vancouver head office. Occasional local travel throughout the Lower Mainland is required to support offsite events and activations. Occasional regional or national travel may also be required in support of key partnerships and brand initiatives from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional briefing, project management, communication, and end-to-end execution of brand partnerships and activations that include 360° marketing channel integration (including but not limited to PWHL, Canadian Running Series, Athletics Canada).
- Partner with Brand + Category team and Community and Brand Marketing Coordinator to seamlessly execute brand-forward events that support category campaigns and product launches across community, partnership, and influencer audiences.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners including Sales/Retail, Brand + Creative, Social/Digital, E-Commerce, Email, and Operations to ensure events and partnerships deliver cohesive on-brand experiences across all guest touchpoints.
- Partner with the Retail Marketing Manager to support planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and retail industry events, ensuring Organika's brand presence appropriately matches and maintains brand equity.
- Ensure all contractual partnership assets are leveraged (including hospitality and ticket allocations) with creativity and resourcefulness to drive ROI and value for the brand.
- Source vendors, suppliers, equipment and merchandise as required to bring our event and activation vision to life.
- Support and elevate community creators through micro-partnerships, working with the Community Coordinator to identify and nurture high-potential grassroots opportunities.
- Maintain and communicate up-to-date information across marketing calendars for all partner events, activations, and opportunities.
- Track and report on KPI metrics that measure performance of partnership and event initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and business impact.
Qualifications & Skills
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in partnerships, sponsorship marketing, events, experiential brand activations, preference to experience gained at an agency, rights-holder/property, or global consumer brand (ie. lifestyle, health and wellness, CPG).
- Experience supporting large and leading medium-sized integrated partnership marketing activations with the ability to draft clear, high-impact briefs that effectively enroll cross-functional collaboration across all channels including retail, creative, brand/category, digital, e-commerce, social, content, and email.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines, complex deliverables, and communicate cross-functional workflows with clarity, speed and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and represent Organika professionally with internal and external partners, vendors, and agencies.
- Experience managing event and partnership budgets up to five and six figures.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and energized working in a fast-paced, action-minded, high-growth environment.
- Working proficiency with a graphic design platform (ie. Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) to create basic on-brand event support collateral as required.
- Experience using project management software an asset
- Valid driver's license.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (ie. Marketing, business, event management).
- This role may require use of a personal vehicle for work-related transportation of demo and event materials. Reimbursement provided in compliance with the British Columbia work related expenses and allowances guidelines.
