Security Guard-With Vehicle

This position is for an active permanent vacancy. 

Position Overview: 

Wages: $20.69/hr

Shift timings: Fridays and Saturdays 23:00-11:00   

Location: Paris, Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Perform interior and exterior patrols using Vision device.
• Any other duties requested by Securitas.
• Be knowledgeable to answer questions from all different posts then pass things up to the Account Manager if you do not know how to help.
• Fulfill Gatehouse duties when required by arriving/departing vehicles.
• Relieve guards at all other posts for breaks and fulfill responsibilities at those posts when doing so.
• Handling emergency situations including but not limited to responding to medical emergencies or assisting with building evacuations/shelters during weather events.
• The entirety of the shift is patrolling and relieving guards for breaks.
• Provide support for special enforcement initiatives dealing with matters such as Accessible Parking, Fire Routes, etc. 
• Prepare detailed briefs of evidence and complete necessary documentation/processes required for court proceedings when necessary.  

• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Valid Security License
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Must have flexible availability
• Must be able to communicate (read/write) in English. 
• Must be able to perform foot patrols for 45 minutes to one hour in length
• Have proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Video Review Software. 
• Must have good deportment with clients 
• Presentable professional appearance.
• Must understand and promote the Securitas Quality objectives: Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Must have steel toe safety shoes.
