Become a vital part of our Salt Lake City, Utah operations as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment process, requiring accuracy and efficiency in selecting and preparing customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, ensuring correct quantities and product specifications, and then carefully packaging them for shipment. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work at a steady pace are crucial. You'll work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Your daily duties will include using handheld scanners, verifying order accuracy, and preparing packages for dispatch. Your commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. This role involves moderate lifting and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Experience with order fulfillment systems is beneficial, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
