We are seeking a hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is fundamental to the daily operations of our warehouse, involving a wide range of tasks to ensure efficient product flow and inventory management. You will be involved in receiving, putting away stock, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for distribution. A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for orders using order sheets or electronic devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to safety regulations.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal safety.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting for prolonged periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
