We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our growing logistics hub in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of outgoing shipments. Your duties will include verifying shipping orders, selecting appropriate packaging materials, boxing and labeling shipments correctly, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area is crucial, as is strict adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines. You will be expected to operate shipping software and equipment, ensuring all shipments are properly documented and tracked within our logistics system. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues. This role involves physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages, and requires the ability to stand for extended periods. Accuracy in labeling and documentation is vital to prevent shipping errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
