Border Security Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

You will be responsible for inspecting cargo, baggage, and merchandise to prevent the smuggling of illicit goods into the country. Your expertise will also involve conducting interviews with travelers to determine their admissibility into the United States.

• Gather intelligence information on potential security threats;
• Evaluate passenger documents and verify identities;

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field from an accredited college or university; OR two (2) years of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-9 level that includes duties related to law enforcement;


• A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-7 level is required; this can include work involving detainment/detention/custody procedures;…
