The primary function of this role involves safeguarding America by preventing illegal activities at or near the borders. You will be responsible for detecting, questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering the country, interpreting physical evidence such as tracks marks etc., performing farm checks building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways using various government assets like vehicles horses vessels off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles etc..

You can qualify for this position through either experience education combination thereof if you meet certain criteria your resume transcripts supporting documents application process evaluation including BPA Entrance Exam prior military service federal civilian employment covered Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
