Border Enforcement Officer

Working as a border enforcement officer offers an exciting opportunity to serve in the federal law enforcement team that safeguards America's borders, deters illicit activity, and enhances economic prosperity.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and possessions.
• Preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering or re-entering the country by maintaining surveillance during night operations using infrared scopes.

The role requires strong observational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication. Working independently with minimal supervision is essential for this position. A background in law enforcement or related field is preferred but not required.
