Border Patrol Agents protect the nation's borders, enforcing immigration and customs laws to safeguard national security.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

1. Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration or custom laws
2. Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status or potential law violations

You must be a U.S. Citizen with primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years, in addition to meeting specific age requirements (typically under 40). Veterans may also qualify under an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA).
