Border Protection Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents. As a key member of our workforce, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, preventing illegal activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

To qualify for this position, you must have one year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations. Alternatively, you can also qualify with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Candidates who possess previous law enforcement or military law enforcement experience may qualify at higher grade levels (GL-9 & GS-11). Please refer to the BPA GL announcement for more information on eligibility requirements.
