Border Protection Specialist

As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders, enforcing customs laws, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex regulations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry of prohibited goods and smuggling contraband.

1. Enforce customs laws at ports-of-entry
2. Determine the admissibility of foreign nationals for entry into the U.S., based on information from various sources including passports,
   visas, biographical questions,
3. Inspect cargo shipments for compliance with applicable laws
