The platform will allow catering businesses to register, manage clients and events, assign staff to shifts, and handle payroll — all in one centralized system. The solution should be scalable, secure, and easy to use.
Core Requirements
1. Company Registration & User Management
Catering companies can register and create their profiles.
Role-based access (Admin, Manager, Supervisor, Staff).
Multi-company support (SaaS model preferred).
2. Client Management
Add, edit, and manage clients.
Store client contact details and event history.
Track contracts and pricing agreements (optional but preferred).
3. Event Management
Create and manage events.
Add event details:
Date & time
Location
Client
Required departments (Kitchen, Service, Logistics, etc.)
Assign required staff positions per event.
4. Staff Management
Add and manage workers.
Categorize by:
Department
Position
Skills
Hourly rate / salary type
Upload documents and certifications (optional).
5. Roster & Shift Scheduling
Create event-based rosters.
Assign workers to shifts.
Avoid double booking conflicts.
Drag-and-drop scheduling (preferred).
Workers should be able to:
View assigned shifts
Accept/Reject shifts
Request change
6. Notifications
Push notifications (Mobile)
Email/SMS alerts for:
