Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero
Perform bank & credit card reconciliations
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with US sales tax, payroll tax, and 1099 filings
Support CPA during tax preparation
Maintain accurate General Ledger and Chart of Accounts
Prepare cash flow reports and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with US GAAP
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of US accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Xero Accounting Software
Solid understanding of US GAAP
Experience with US payroll systems (Gusto, ADP, etc. – preferred)
Knowledge of sales tax and 1099 reporting
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
