Role Description:
This isn't a "maintain the codebase" job. You'll be building core features that thousands of players interact with daily — from real-time co-op gaming sessions to loyalty systems, from player profiles to live streaming infrastructure. You'll own features end-to-end: database schema → API → UI → deploy → monitor.
You'll work directly with the founder and a tight team of engineers and designers. No product managers translating requirements through three layers. No Jira tickets assigned to you by someone who's never written code. You'll understand the why behind every feature because you'll be in the room when we decide to build it.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship full-stack features across our + Supabase + React stack — from database migrations to pixel-perfect UI.
- Design PostgreSQL schemas with RLS policies, real-time subscriptions, and edge functions that handle real money securely.
- Craft responsive, accessible interfaces using Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Radix primitives — desktop-first with mobile adaptation.
- Own the full lifecycle of every feature you touch: spec → architecture → implementation → testing → deployment → monitoring.
- Architect real-time systems — live co-op sessions, streaming integrations, chat, and presence using Supabase Realtime and LiveKit.
- Collaborate directly with design and product — review mockups, suggest improvements, push back when something doesn't make sense.
- Contribute to technical direction — you'll have a voice in stack decisions, infrastructure choices, and engineering culture.
- Write code you're proud of — clean, typed, tested, documented where it matters.
What We Expect From You:
Technical Excellence
5+ years of professional full-stack development — you've shipped production software that real people use.
Deep TypeScript expertise — you think in types, not just use them.
React & mastery — App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, streaming, caching strategies.
Strong PostgreSQL skills — complex queries, schema design, indexing, performance optimization, row-level security.
Real-time systems experience — WebSockets, subscriptions, presence, conflict resolution.
CSS craftsmanship — Tailwind, responsive design, animations, accessibility (ARIA, keyboard navigation).
Mindset
You ship — you bias toward action, not endless planning. You'd rather ship something good today than something perfect never.
You own it — when something breaks at 2am, you don't wait for someone to assign you a ticket. You fix it because it's yours.

Nice to Have
Experience in gaming, fintech, or crypto industries.
Familiarity with Supabase specifically (Auth, Realtime, Storage, Edge Functions).
Experience with streaming infrastructure (LiveKit, WebRTC, HLS).
Knowledge of i18n patterns and multi-locale applications.
Experience with design systems and token-based theming.
