Our church organization has a need for an ongoing, always available graphics designer to work for us. Ideally we would like to have someone on monthly retainer who can do graphics as needed. We're also open to hourly but a fixed retainer is easier for budgeting. Most of the design needs are recurring such as weekly services which can be templated. There are also Sunday graphics such as sermons slides. Sometimes there are higher design needs like when we have a conference and need a flyer, banner, and program made. The work can vary. About 3 or 4 times a year we may need a logo for an upcoming conference.
Our organization has some guidelines and rules pertaining to flyers which must be followed such as placement of the logo and of the founder, sizing of the founder's photo vs other subjects etc. The designer must be able to respect our guidelines and limitations and eventually be able to design for us without too much hand-holding.
I've attached examples of designs from some previous events. We need someone who can match or exceed this quality.
We also need someone who can take things to the next level and's help us develop new design ideas within the confines of our aforementioned guidelines and limitations.
We may consider working with a design firm so that we can extend this contract to our other branches. However initially we're okay with working with individuals as well.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Banner Ad Design, Logo Design, Layout Design, Print Design, Sales & Marketing Collateral, Source File, Flyer Design
