Essential Responsibilities:
- Actively supports the implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Plan (HSE Plan) to ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and all regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain Ledcor systems and procedures, assist with project billing and cost‑accounting setup, and manage the project directory. Support project close‑out activities, including preparing warranty packages, assembling turnover documents, and coordinating site demobilization.
- Perform general document management functions, including reviewing and distributing submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation. Maintain accurate files, logs, drawings, and specifications.
- Support the development of project schedules, monitor milestone progress and financial deadlines, and connect schedule impacts to change orders, claims, and delays.
- Assist in the administration of subcontract and supplier tendering processes. Review invoices and progress claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the change order process by obtaining pricing, preparing documentation, and administering approved changes.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and ensure alignment with contract documents.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and general construction methodologies
- Familiarity with project office processes, including project setup, subcontract management, RFIs, change orders, lien holdbacks, and close‑out
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Procore.
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to typical project stakeholder requests while understanding and supporting client needs
Working Conditions:
- Site-based position in Edmonton, AB
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test
