You will be responsible for designing, managing and optimizing the foundation which enables every customer to purchase on Amazon. Specifically your product will own the onboarding experience for developers and internal clients at Amazon who use payments technology to drive their business. You will own product vision and strategy and the long term roadmap for improving the client onboarding experience. Additionally, you will own working with partner teams and clients to understand their pain points and invent new solutions. The ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, managing and optimizing the foundation which enables every customer to purchase on Amazon. You will own product vision and strategy to invent new capabilities for customers to register and make payments. Additionally, you will own working with partner teams to enable new solutions and channels across web, mobile, and new commerce channels. The ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams, and numerous stakeholders up to senior levels, through influence.
About the team
We power payments for most of Amazon Corporate, including the user experience and core services.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
