Callow & Associates ) is a Microsoft Dynamics consultancy located in Calgary, Alberta. We partner with our clients to improve their business processes by providing Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to address their financial accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, job costing, field service, and payroll requirements. We also help our clients meet their budgeting and planning requirements by leveraging financial planning and analytics tools.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting & Payroll Coordinator to support the organization's daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate invoicing, payables processing, payroll administration, financial reconciliations, and supporting monthly and year-end reporting. This role also includes light office coordination within our shared workspace.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring timely and accurate client invoicing;
Managing accounts payable;
Maintaining employee records and processing payroll and related remittances;
Performing account reconciliations;
Maintaining internal controls and financial policies;
Preparing monthly and year-end journal entries;
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements; and
Acting as the Office Manager in our shared workspace.
Professional experience and qualifications required:
2 to 5 years of accounting experience;
2 to 5 years of payroll management experience with full-cycle payroll processing;
Knowledge of accounting principles, payroll, and business processes;
Strong Excel skills; and
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Other key skills:
Excellent time management, communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking;
Strong aptitude for learning; and
Highly motivated self-starter.
