This is not a no-code automation task.
We need a developer who can design and implement a proper Make application that communicates directly with our REST API, and take long-term ownership of the integration as it evolves.
We previously received many applications from people assuming this was about building workflows or configuring Make scenarios — this role is specifically for building the integration itself.
What you'll be responsible for
Phase 1 – Build
- Develop a reusable application connected to our REST API
- Implement secure authentication
- Design well-structured triggers, searches, and actions
- Handle pagination, filtering, and API error cases correctly
- Structure the app so additional modules can be added over time
- Document the integration so it's maintainable
Phase 2 – Ongoing ownership
- Maintain compatibility as our API evolves
- Add new modules and triggers as features expand
- Debug customer-reported automation issues
- Improve performance and reliability over time
We're looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship, not a one-off build.
About the platform
We run a production-management / scheduling SaaS used by teams to manage projects, resources, and workflows.
Full API documentation and product details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Important clarification
We are not looking for:
- Someone to build a single Make automation
- A no-code specialist
- Someone new to integrations who wants to learn on the job
We are looking for:
- A developer experienced in building automation platform integrations
- Someone comfortable working directly from API documentation
- Someone who thinks about long-term maintainability, not just delivery
Required experience
- Proven experience building apps/modules
- Strong REST API integration background
- Ability to translate API endpoints into clean trigger/action design
- Experience debugging integrations in production environments
- Ability to design integrations that are maintainable and extensible
Strong bonus if you have
- Built integrations for SaaS products
- Published apps on Make before
- Experience with Zapier or similar automation platforms
- Experience owning integrations long-term

We're aiming to start with an MVP module set and expand it over time with the right developer.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 40 hours per week.
