Department: Respiratory Therapy Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exempt Sign-On Bonus: $15,000.00 Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist II (RCP II / RRT) to join the Respiratory Therapy department. Under the direction of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director, the RCP II provides respiratory therapy, ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, airway management, and oxygen therapy for patients across the lifespan. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, implementation, and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices. In the absence of a supervisor, the RCP II may serve as Lead Respiratory Therapist, assuming responsibility for departmental operations during the shift and supporting team development. Perform respiratory treatments, ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered by physicians Administer oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and patient assessments Collaborate with critical care, emergency, and neonatal teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Serve as shift lead when assigned, providing guidance and mentoring Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent is required #Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $49.80 per hour.
