*Job Summary*
We are seeking an organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects across various departments. In this role, you will drive project success by applying proven project management methodologies, fostering collaboration, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing resources, mitigating risks, and aligning project objectives with organizational goals. *Duties*
* Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma to ensure clear scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
* Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the project management lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scope management, and project implementation.
* Facilitate meetings to coordinate efforts, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment among stakeholders while employing effective negotiation and communication skills.
* Monitor project progress using tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6; track key performance indicators such as earned value management and schedule adherence.
* Conduct root cause analysis and risk assessments to proactively identify issues; implement mitigation strategies using tools like Kaizen, Six Sigma, or process mapping techniques.
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality standards are met while controlling costs through budgeting and cost control practices.
* Support program development and portfolio management by prioritizing projects based on strategic value and resource availability; utilize PPM tools such as Smartsheet or Confluence for tracking.
* Foster continuous improvement by applying Lean principles, facilitating Kaizen events, and promoting a culture of process optimization across teams.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in project management with a strong background in leading diverse teams through complex initiatives across multiple industries.
* Demonstrated expertise in applying various project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and PMBOK standards.
* Supervising experience with a focus on team management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Trello, or Smartsheet; familiarity with PPM tools like VersionOne or Project Server is advantageous.
* Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret metrics related to project performance and quality management.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure projects or product lifecycle management is preferred but not required.
* Excellent organizational skills combined with technical writing capabilities for documentation and reporting purposes.
* Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable; experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
* Effective communication skills to facilitate meetings, present updates confidently, and negotiate effectively with vendors and stakeholders. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
