Data & Analytics BI Product Manager . In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in driving the delivery and enhancement of our data and analytics capabilities within the
Telecom Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) . You will act as a vital link between business functions and technical teams, translating business needs into impactful data solutions. Key Responsibilities
Product & Delivery Management Take ownership as the
product owner
for Telecom EDW and BI capabilities, defining and prioritizing a roadmap that aligns with business objectives. Lead
requirement gathering and elaboration
for data, reporting, and analytics use cases across different functions such as network, customer, billing, sales, and operations. Manage the backlog, sprint planning, and delivery milestones for EDW and BI initiatives. Collaborate effectively with
data engineers, data modelers, and BI developers
to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions. Stakeholder & Business Engagement Act as the primary liaison between
business stakeholders
and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and realization of value. Partner with business units to
define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards . Facilitate
data-driven discussions
to validate requirements and interpret analytics outputs. Translate complex data concepts into accessible language for executive and operational stakeholders. Analytics, Reporting & Visualization Oversee the design, development, and deployment of
dashboards and reports using Tableau , ensuring accuracy and usability across the organization. Define and maintain
data definitions, hierarchies, and governance standards
in collaboration with data management teams. Work with business analysts to
enhance self-service analytics capabilities . Promote the adoption of standardized BI assets to create a single source of truth. Technical & Data Understanding Collaborate with engineering teams on
data ingestion and transformation pipelines
using FiveTran, Matillion, and Snowflake. Guide
data modeling principles
to support analytical and reporting needs. Utilize
Secoda
for data cataloging and metadata management. Contribute to
data quality initiatives , ensuring trust in analytics outputs. Governance & Continuous Improvement Work closely with the
data governance
function to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and compliance. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Monitor BI system performance and user adoption; recommend enhancements as necessary. Stay informed of
industry trends and emerging technologies
in data and analytics. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field . 8+ years of experience in
Data Analytics, BI Product Management, or Data Product Ownership , particularly in the
Telecom sector . Proven experience with:
Tableau
(dashboard design and visualization best practices) Snowflake
(understanding schema, performance, and data organization) FiveTran
and
Matillion
(familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows) Secoda
or a similar data catalog tool
Strong understanding of
data modeling concepts . Experience defining and tracking
Telecom KPIs
such as subscriber metrics and churn. Proficient in
SQL
and capable of validating analytical queries. Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and prioritize diverse business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with
data governance frameworks . Prior experience in a
Telecom EDW or analytics transformation program
is highly desirable. Exposure to
data observability, dbt, or data quality frameworks
is a plus. Essential Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail. Strategic thinker who connects technical capabilities with business value. Able to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments.
