About the Position: As a Mobile HVAC Engineer at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for various systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This role is integral to our Engineering and Technical Services team, where you will provide essential support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems, ensuring all operations comply with standards. Assess assigned work orders, estimate necessary time and materials for repairs, and maintain adequate supply and tool inventory. Implement organization-wide preventive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan of building machinery and systems, along with overseeing emergency maintenance as required. Conduct comprehensive inspections of building and industrial systems, such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, ensuring equipment operates within design specifications and meets client environmental conditions. Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations. Utilize company-issued vehicles to fulfill daily responsibilities efficiently. Apply advanced knowledge of technical principles and procedures to solve complex issues innovatively. Share your expertise with colleagues, coaching junior staff within the discipline and across related fields. Model behaviors consistent with CBRE’s core values, fostering collaboration and consensus among team members. Impact various customer, operational, project, or service activities within both your team and related teams. Operate within established guidelines and policies while effectively communicating sensitive information. Qualifications: A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, accompanied by 4-5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are essential. Supervisory experience is a plus. Capability to meet physical demands, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and the ability to lift/carry loads of 50 lbs. or more. Strong analytical skills to exercise judgment based on varied information sources. Openness to explore and embrace new perspectives on existing solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Excellent organizational skills paired with a strong inquisitive mindset. At CBRE, we prioritize a diverse and inclusive workplace. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, with the final offer based on qualifications. Benefits include a 401(K) plan, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
