Become a key member of our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the flow of goods into and out of our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving inbound shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, stocking inventory, processing outbound orders, packing items securely, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries. Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment is crucial. This role requires physical stamina, including regular lifting, standing, and maneuvering of products. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and accuracy against documentation.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for inbound and outbound logistics.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
