The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly trained professionals to join their elite team of law enforcement officers. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting its citizens.
About the Job:
- You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
- You will conduct inspections of documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You must have one year of general work experience that demonstrates your ability to make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations, and learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction.
Educational Substitution:
You can substitute one full year of graduate-level education related to law enforcement with the required work experience.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement , or equivalent combination of relevant education.
