2. To enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


3. To facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

• Evaluate documentation to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations.
• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States.
• Inspect people, cargo/bags/merchandise for criminal activity or fraud. Conduct examinations in accordance with applicable policies directives (see training requirements below) .
