As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, working to safeguard our borders, deter illicit activity, and enhance economic prosperity.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or related fields.


• A minimum of one year's experience is required, including detaining suspected violators, enforcing customs laws, and utilizing intelligence techniques.


• Education may also be substituted for experience; applicants must possess at least two years' education above high school level or hold an LL.B. degree from an accredited college/university.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and residency within the country for three out of five years preceding application.
The ideal candidate will also undergo formal training at FLETC Glynco GA before being posted as CBP Field Operations Academy Graduate The selected individual should successfully complete this intensive 101-day course covering various skills such as firearms handling cargo inspection physical fitness Spanish language skills basic law enforcement strategies
and interview procedures
