• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents or possessions for citizenship status or violations.
  


• Preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering at or near borders while maintaining surveillance using infrared scopes during night operations.
  


•   “Interpreting tracks…&c evidence indicating illegal entry patterns,” performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, , patrolling international boundaries in various vehicles.
