Border Security Specialist

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting its citizens. You will be part of an elite team responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

• You must possess one (1) year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations,
• learn regulations, methods,& techniques through classroom training,&/or on-the-job instruction,
  
• &gather concise information through questioning,& observation,& examination of documents.& records;
