Position Summary
Primaris REIT is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager, ERP Systems to join our team at our Head Office in Toronto, ON. If you are an expert in Yardi, SQL scripting Business Analysis, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this exciting opportunity is perfect for you
As the Manager, ERP Systems you will drive the planning, design, development, and continuous improvement of core business applications and processes across the organization, reporting to the Director, ERP Systems. You will provide day-to-day oversight of critical systems particularly Yardi and provide overall business support, business systems governance, ensuring data integrity, and delivering high-quality solutions that meet operational needs.

Role
Strategic & Operational Alignment
Develop and refine a structured strategy for business requirements gathering, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Work closely with the Director, ERP Systems to assume selected responsibilities that free up leadership capacity for strategic initiatives.
Maintain a deep understanding of existing processes, recommending improvements and identifying opportunities for innovation.
Create and deliver learning frameworks, including user guides, presentations, and workshop materials to support successful system adoption.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Oversee the end-to-end process of capturing, documenting, and translating business needs into clear technical specifications.
Lead design sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workflow assessments to identify gaps, optimize business operations, and streamline data flow.
Understand and document current and future state for projects with an emphasis on KPIs and success criteria.
Maintain comprehensive documentation (e.g., workflow diagrams, use cases, gap analyses) to guide system enhancements.
Encourage best practices in requirements gathering, ensuring consistency and clarity.
System Support, Training & Administration
Manage day-to-day operations of core systems (primary focus on Yardi), including report writing, incident resolution and ticket management.
Provide training to business users, ensuring they understand and effectively utilize system features and enhancements.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee system upgrades or enhancements in collaboration with IT.
Ensure system integrity and accuracy by developing and following best-practice validation, testing, and quality control protocols.
Serve as an escalation point for complex system challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
Project/Vendor Management & Collaboration
Coordinate cross-functional projects, oversee user acceptance testing, manage data integration efforts, and foster successful user adoption across the organization.
Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones, and communication plans; track progress to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with vendors, third-party support providers, and internal stakeholders to identify needs and deliver continuous improvements.
Lead the RFP process for business systems.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent updates to business stakeholders about IT initiatives.
Team Leadership & Growth
Plan and execute strategies to build out the capabilities of the team which includes hiring.
Mentor and guide team members, setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting their professional development.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing, ensuring the team remains agile and responsive to evolving business needs.
Requirements
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are experienced in complex system implementation and integration with a strong ability to communicate business and technical needs. If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, you likely have the following attributes:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in business systems, systems analysis, or a related field, preferably in real estate or financial services.
Demonstrated expertise with Yardi, MRI, or similar commercial real estate management software
Proven track record of leading complex system implementations, integrations, and/or upgrades
Must have strong proficiency in business requirements gathering, process mapping, and creating clear technical documentation
Must have proficiency in SQL scripting, advanced Excel and reporting tools (e.g., Yardi YSR, SSRS, Power BI)
Experience mentoring or supervising staff and managing project teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical details into business-friendly language
Strategic thinker who can also manage day-to-day operational tasks effectively
Effective conflict resolution, problem-solving, and building consensus in cross-functional environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach

Compensation
At Primaris, we believe in rewarding talent with competitive wages and total compensation package. Your compensation is thoughtfully determined based on factors such as location, job level, relevant education or training, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, while ensuring internal equity and alignment with market data.
Expected Salary Range: CAD $100,000 – $130,000
