Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Sussex, NB. The Pharmacist will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through prescription preparation, medication counseling, and health consultations. Daily tasks include reviewing prescriptions, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, managing pharmacy operations, providing recommendations for over-the-counter products, and educating patients on proper medication use and potential side effects. The role also includes maintaining compliance with regulations and fostering a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, prescription preparation, and medication dispensing
Proficiency in providing medication counseling, health consultations, and patient education
Understanding of pharmacy operations, including inventory management and compliance with regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members, while maintaining a customer-focused approach
Valid Pharmacist license in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an asset
Experience with immunization delivery and other patient care services is an advantage
