As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join us on our journey toward operational excellence and technical innovation.
About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at ActualPlatform, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, secure, and highly available infrastructure that supports continuous integration and continuous delivery across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Architect and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes-based environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic and OpenSearch.
Manage and optimize stateful services such as Redis.
Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies.
Lead incident management processes and continuously improve operational reliability.
Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline workflows and release cycles.
Enforce security, scalability, and reliability best practices across environments.
Work within Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to maintain transparency and documentation standards.

What We're Looking For
Strong background in DevOps and cloud-native architectures
Proven experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications
Experience designing high-availability and scalable systems
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and GitOps workflows
Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response processes
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
