This role focuses on strategic research and outreach support, including identifying key district issues, building media contact databases, researching local and national outlets for coverage opportunities, and compiling verified contact information for political science departments, pre-law programs, public relations departments, and student organizations to recruit interns and volunteers.
You must be able to independently locate accurate email addresses and phone numbers; if a specific department contact is not available, you should document the general university contact information so we can follow up directly.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and speed are essential.
We are looking for someone who is not just a task executor but a critical thinker who can identify additional outreach opportunities beyond an existing list, such as Democratic clubs, civic groups, advocacy organizations, and other aligned networks, starting in Georgia but expanding nationally as needed.
This position requires strong online research skills, political awareness, sound judgment, and comfort working in a campaign environment with tight timelines.
Immediate availability is required, and strong performance could lead to a longer-term virtual assistant role as the campaign grows.
