Scope of Work:
1.Collection & Product Page Enhancements:
-Variant Selector: Replace the static "Add to Cart" box on collection pages with a functional variant/color selector.
-Dynamic Image Switching: Ensure that clicking a variant icon immediately updates the product thumbnail to the corresponding variant image.
-Quick Shop Feature: Add a "Quick Shop" overlay/button on product thumbnails for desktop users.
-Discount Badges: Programmatically display the "Discount %" (e.g., "Save 30%") directly on the product images.
-Default View: Disable Shopify's automatic variant selector on product page load so the primary thumbnail is seen first.
2. Troubleshooting & Performance (Technical)
-Eliminate "Ghost" Loading: Fix the "green screen" or half-loading "quick content" glitch that appears for ~0.5s when the site is first opened in a new browser.
-Speed Optimization: Improve overall loading speed, specifically targeting product pages where images currently lag behind text content.
-JavaScript Fixes: Debug and resolve recurring JavaScript errors identified in Microsoft Clarity.
Requirements:
-Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Experience with performance optimization and reducing "Layout Shift."
-Ability to work with Microsoft Clarity or similar session recording tools to diagnose JS errors.
-Strong attention to detail regarding UI/UX design.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
Mandatory skills: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, CSS 3, Shopify
